About Bull & Byte
Bull & Byte (bullandbyte.com) lists the best finance and tech internships, at Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Rothschild & Co and the other top banks, funds, trading firms and fintechs, collected every 3 hours from the employers' own careers sites. Today it tracks 2213 open postings at 155 employers. Every internship is free to browse, in real time. Credits pay for online tests and cover letters written from the student's CV.
Where the internships come from
Only from employers. Our bot reads the public job feeds that employers' recruiting software publishes (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Recruitee, Workday, Oracle Recruiting) and the sitemaps of their careers sites, which are made for robots. It respects each site's robots.txt and never reads job boards such as LinkedIn or Indeed. We keep facts (employer, title, location, dates) and link to the original posting, where you apply. A posting leaves the list when the employer closes it, when its application deadline passes, when the internship has already started, or six months after it was published. More about our bot.
What we keep and what we add
- Internships only: internships, off-cycle placements, insight programmes, apprenticeships and VIE roles. Full-time jobs are left out.
- The desk: each posting is sorted into sales & trading, investment banking, quant, asset management & private equity, risk & compliance, corporate finance, tech & data or operations, from its title.
- The requirements: each new posting is read once in full to find the languages it requires or prefers, PhD or MBA restrictions, accepted graduation years, visa sponsorship, start date, duration and tools. The posting's text is not stored or republished.
- The ease score, out of 100: an estimate of how accessible a posting is, from public signals: how selective the employer is, how contested the desk is, the type of programme (summer, off-cycle, insight, apprenticeship), the city, how recently it was posted (many banks review applications on a rolling basis) and how many openings the employer has on that desk. It is shown with the three factors that weigh most. It is not an admission rate: no employer publishes one.
How often it is updated
Every 3 hours. A posting that an employer takes down disappears from the list within hours; its page stays online for a while, marked as closed. The live figures are in the internship market report.
