VIE roles in finance
The VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) lets European Union nationals aged 18 to 28 spend six to twenty-four months abroad with a French company, with a tax-free allowance. French banks offer many of them on trading floors, in financing and in risk, in New York, London, Hong Kong or Singapore.
It is often the simplest route to a first role abroad: the scheme handles the visa question.
